There is a modest 'on site' coffee / tapas bar / restaurant run by a very friendly Spanish couple, the shop sells milk, bread and basic provisions. The nearest town of Lajares is 5 minutes by car away, (30 minutes by bicycle!) and has tappas bars, restaurents, pizza bars, a 'French',  German, and Spanish bakery. They all sell delicious bread, fresh coffee, croissants, pastries and filled rolls. There is often 'live music' in the bars and festivals throughout the year. It is a central 'hub' for all the local surf, windsurf and kiteboarding schools as it has easy access to miles of local beach and reef breaks. The Villa is very well equipped, the whole development very well maintained, nice tennis court and swimming pool. Having morning coffee and watching Atlantic from upper terrace was amazing experience. Highly recommended for families with children, beaches in El Cotillo or Coralejo are beautiful. "La Cancela" in Lajares is a very good and inexpensive place to eat( great pizza), Vaca Azul- seafood restaurant in El Cotillo will satisfy every gourmand.
